2025
A Spider women's basketball alum, Laurie Governor Curtis is the CEO of On The Court Solutions, where she specializes in relationship building, program management and training and development. She was inducted into the Richmond Athletics Hall of Fame in 2000.
A Spider field hockey alum, Meghan Stocks is a middle school reading specialist. She remains involved in the sport through coaching youth athletes and her involvement with national field hockey organizations, including USA Field Hockey and the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.
2024
A Spider women's basketball alum, Jaide Hinds-Clarke has worked as part of the staff of Richmond Athletics and now is part of The Trevor Project, a nonprofit focused on suicide prevention efforts among LGBTQ youth.
A Spider men's basketball alum, Nick Sherod is a high school english teacher and coach at St. Christopher's School, his alma mater. Sherod earned honors for his academics, athletics, and social justic rhetoric during his time at Richmond, and is one of the top 25 scorers in men's basketball program history.
A Spider football alum and two-time Atlantic 10 champion, Mark Thompson is now the Director of HR Operations for Panasonic North America as well as the Founder and CEO of Career Transformation Academy, an organization that works to empower college graduates, executive candidates. and those making a career transition to confidently land their dream job.
