Robert Kilpatrick pitched for Spiders in 1944, 47, and 48 and led all pitchers in wins in each of those three seasons. In 1944 he pitched in all of Richmond's eight games and won five of those games. He had a 16-5 record as a Spider and was named All-State in 1947. He appeared in 44% of the team's games and accounted for 42% of the Spiders 38 victories over his career.
