Men's Golf Places 12th at Bradford Creek Intercollegiate

GREENVILLE, N.C.-- University of Richmond tied for a 12th-place finish at the Bradford Creek Intercollegiate at Bradford Creek Country Club in Greenville, N.C. firing an 893 (295-294-304). Senior Ryan McLain was the top finisher for the Spiders, tied for 38th in the event after shooting a three-round 222 (73-78-71).
Freshman Parker Hughes finished second for the Spiders for the second straight week, carding his highest finish of the season. He tied for 43rd in the event (73-72-78), one stroke behind teammate McLain.
Junior Kyle Hess shot a 12-over par (75-79-74) to place 81st while senior Mark DiGiacomo placed 101st (79-71-81).
UNC Wilmington captured event among 25 schools with a three-round score of 856, eight strokes under par.
The Spiders return to the links on April 12, competing in the Princeton Invitational in Princeton, N.J.
