In two meets this week, Boncher won six individual events and was part of two relay victories. Her efforts garnered her second consecutive Atlantic 10 Swimmer of the Week honor. Against Rutgers, Boncher helped win the 200 medley (1:58.71) as well as capturing the 200 fly (2:16.07), 100 free (56.72) and the 100 fly (1:01.50). Her times in the 100 fly and 100 free are NCAA "B" qualifiers. At Penn, Boncher set a program record with a 54:94 in the 100 fly and also won the 50 free (23:58), 100 free (51:39) and was part of the winning 400 free relay.
Season-To-Date Recap
In addition to this week's performance, Boncher already set a school record in the 200 fly with a time of 2:02.80 against Georgia Southern. In the season opener, she set a pool record at Virginia Tech in the 100 fly (55:43). Boncher also won the 50 free (23.90) and the 100 free (52.06) against the Hokies.

"Brooke's progress this season has been remarkable at first glance - it is very unusual for someone at her level to swim lifetime best times this early in the season," head coach Matt Kredich said. "However, considering the amount of work she has put in and the level of commitment that she has displayed for the past year, I am not surprised at all that she is doing so well. She has set some very lofty goals, and from my perspective she is well on her way to achieving them."
