Women's Golf Ties For Third

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. -- The Richmond women's golf team shot a final-round 314 and tied for third with a 947 (320-313-314) at the Ross Resorts Invitational in Southern Pines.
Freshman Natasha Lopez Moreira's third-round 79 on Monday pushed her two-day total to 233 (76-78-79), tied for fourth. Classmate Ally Caffrey also posted a top-10 finish, tying for eighth, with a 235 (82-73-80) at the par-72 Mid Pines Golf Club.
Junior Lauren Ritter shot a 237 (80-78-79) to finish 15th. Junior Lesley Monachino fired a team-low 76 on Monday to card a 243 (83-86-76) at the event. Sophomore Ashley Lambert (82-84-81--247) also competed for Richmond.
Baylor won the tournament while James Madison finished second. The Ross Resorts Invitational was Richmond's final event of the fall season.
