Everyone around the world had a chance to see Tony's game-winning shot against Kansas last Thursday night as both ESPN and CNN chose it as their Play of the Day. With just 1.3 seconds remaining, Dobbins drained a fadeaway jumper to give Richmond its first win against a top-10 team since the 1991 NCAA Tournament. The senior followed that effort with a 19-point performance at Xavier to increase the Spiders' win streak to three.
Season-To-Date Recap
Dobbins leads the team and is ranked in the Atlantic 10 top-5 with 7.5 rebounds per game. He also leads the team with 52 steals and is second with 11.5 points and 33.2 minutes per game. Dobbins has recorded five double-doubles this season and 10 in his career.
From A Coach
"Only the people who understand basketball know how much he changes the game," said Phil Martelli, coach of No. 3 Saint Joseph's.
