Four Student-Athletes Are Named To The A-10 All-Academic Team

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND-Seniors Steve Lessing of the men's golf team, Tim Caramore, Alison Belicose and Diane Schreiber of the men's and women's track and field teams were named to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic team today, as announced by the conference.
Caramore (East Greenbush, N.Y) earns his second consecutive All-Academic honor of the year after placing third in the 3000M Steeplechase at the Outdoor Atlantic 10 Championships. Caramore is a Chemistry major in the classroom.
As a Biology major, Belicose (Red Bank, N.J.) finished fourth in the 10000M run and was a member of the All-Conference second team 4x800 relay team during the A-10 Outdoor Championships.
Schreiber earned All-Conference first team honors in the Hammer, second team honors in the shot put, third place in the discus, eighth in the javelin and was named Most Outstanding Field Performer at the Outdoor Atlantic 10 Championships. Schreiber is a Business major.
Lessing (Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.) had a stroke average of 77.4 in 27 rounds. He saved his best performance for last when he finished sixth at the Atlantic 10 Championships. In the classroom Lessing performs as a Finance major.
