Spidey, University of Richmond's athletic mascot, spent its Monday morning "getting active" with Ronald McDonald and Bob Greene at a Richmond-area McDonald's to promote the company's Go Active American Challenge with an emphasis on a balanced lifestyle.
Greene, who is Oprah Winfrey's personal trainer, started his journey on April 20 in Los Angeles and will complete the cross-country trek on Tuesday, May 25 in Washington, D.C. In total, Greene will travel more than 3,000 miles by biking and walking.
During Monday's visit to Richmond, Spidey had a chance to exercise its eight legs with Ronald and Bob in a fun and healthy environment.
