Women's Golf In Seventh After Two Rounds Of Taco Bell Intercollegiate

GREENVILLE, N.C. - University of Richmond sophomores Natasha Lopez Moreira (Asuncion, Paraguay) and Ally Caffrey (Rumford, R.I.) are tied for ninth, both at 1-over par, after two rounds of the Taco Bell Intercollegiate at Bradford Country Club.
The Spiders are in seventh place at 19-over par after finishing 11-over in Saturday's second round. Richmond is two strokes behind sixth-place Coastal Carolina and just four strokes out of fourth place.
Moreira, who carded a 74 in the opening round, shot a 1-under par 71 Saturday to break into the top 10. Caffrey, who was at even par after the first round, shot a 1-over 73 to join Moreira in the top 10.
Richmond freshman Rosario Germino (Necohea, Argentina) shot a 2-over 74 Saturday and sits in a tie for 32nd at 7-over. Junior Ashley Lambert (Bradenton, Fla.) is in a tie for 69th at 11-over (73-82). Senior Lauren Ritter (Watchung, N.J.) is 18-over and in a tie for 94th.
The third and final round of the Taco Bell Intercollegiate will be held Sunday.
