Caffrey Headlines Women's Golf Awards

RICHMOND, Va. - Freshman Natasha Lopez Moreira who was selected for the second team.
Caffrey gives Richmond it's second of the three Rookie of the Years given by the CAA. Elizabeth Cushing was chosen for the inaugural distinction in 2003. A Rumford, R.I. native, Caffrey led the Spiders and posted the third lowest scoring average (77.6) in the conference. She earned six top-11 finishes and is the program record-holder for lowest round (70) and best three-round score (220).
A native of Asuncion, Paraguay, Moreira was second on the team with a 78.0 scoring average. She earned five top-10 finishes during her rookie campaign, including back-to-back top five finishes.
Lauren Ritter and Ashley Lambert earned All-Conference Second Team honors last season.
