Student-Athletes Will Lend Muscle On Move-In Day

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -
One of the most popular and welcomed pre-school traditions is about to unfold on the University of Richmond campus. Freshman Move-In Day is set for Wednesday August 24, and when those wide-eyed first-year students, and their parents, arrive on campus with all those "college-life necessities," Spider student-athletes will be there to help get them into the dorms.
Richmond's football, field hockey and women's soccer squads, already on campus for preseason practice, will be stationed at various dorms to help the freshmen and their parents find their way - and move those belongs from vehicles to dorm rooms.
