Women's Golf Finishes 10th In Fall Season Finale

PINEHURST, N.C. - The Richmond women's golf team finished 10th out of 13 teams at the Ross Resorts Invitational completed Tuesday at Mid Pines.
The Spiders shot a 322 in the third and final round to finish their final tournament of the fall at 960 (316-322-322).
Richmond senior Ashley Lambert tied for 18th with a 233 after carding a 77 on Tuesday. Lambert shot a 77 in the first round and a 79 in the second round.
Freshman Victoria Kidder tied for 24th at 235 (75-79-81) and sophomore Rosario Germino shot a 2-over-par 74 in the final round Tuesday to finish at 242 in a tie for 46th. Freshman Anne Sprick tied for 64th at 250 and sophomore Kelly Pratt took 70th at 278. Richmond freshman Lauren Folgosa, playing as an individual, finished 66th with a 254.
The Spiders finished the fall season with their third top-10 finish in five tournaments. Richmond opens play for the spring 2007 season on Feb. 26 at the Fighting Camel Spring Classic.
