Women's Golf In Eighth After Two Rounds At Ross Resorts

PINEHURST, N.C. - Freshman Victoria Kidder is tied for 13th and the Spiders are in ninth place out of 13 teams after two rounds of the Ross Resorts Invitational played Monday at Mid Pines.
Kidder shot a 3-over-par 75 in the morning round on the par-72, 6,114-yard course. She shot a 79 in the afternoon to finish the day at 10-over 154.
Richmond senior Ashley Lambert is two strokes behind Kidder in a tie for 17th at 156. Lambert shot a 77 in the morning round and 79 in the afternoon. Freshman Anne Sprick is tied for 35th after a pair of 80s.
Sophomore Rosario Germino is in 65th at 168 (84-84) and sophomore Kelly Pratt is in 70th at 182 (94-88). Richmond freshman Lauren Folgosa, playing the tournament as an individual, is in 66th at 171 (82-89).
The Spiders will play their final round of the fall season in Tuesday's third and final round of the Ross Resorts Invitational.
