Tim Courtney Wins Atlantic 10 Men's Golf Performer & Rookie Of Week

University of Richmond freshman Tim Courtney earns both the Atlantic 10 Men's Golf Performer and Rookie of the Week awards for his performance at the Rice Intercollegiate.
Courtney, a former standout at Midlothian High in Midlothian, Va., finished the three-round tournament at 14-over par 224, which included an even-par 70 in the opening round. He was tied for the lead after two rounds and helped the Spiders to tie for 10th out of 14 teams in the event.
This was the third time this season that Courtney was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year.
The Spiders return to action on Thursday, Dec. 9 at the three-day Birkdale Collegiate Golf Classic.
