Men's Tennis Drops To Elon, 4-2, On Sunday

ELON, N.C. - The University of Richmond men's tennis team dropped to Elon, 4-2, on Sunday afternoon in Elon, N.C. Bobby McNally earned his second No. 2 singles win of the weekend as he defeated Austin Fenn, and Brett Waikart fought hard for his second win of the weekend, earning a win at the No. 6 singles spot on Sunday. The Spiders, now 4-7, return to action on Feb. 24 when they will face Longwood in Farmville, Va.

Richmond head coach Steve Gerstenfeld was proud of his team's effort this weekend. "We've been consistently playing better week by week," stated Gerstenfeld. "We look a lot different than one month ago and the guys are playing with a lot of heart these days."
