Women's Golf Tied For Eighth At Lady Seahawk Invitational

WALLACE, N.C. - University of Richmond junior Ashley Lambert is tied for 12th as the Spiders are tied for eighth place out of 13 teams after two rounds of the UNCW Lady Seahawk Invitational held Monday.
Richmond shot a 307 in the morning round and a 319 in the afternoon round to sit in a two-way tie for eighth place, five strokes behind seventh-place Elon.
"We played solid, the karma was good," Richmond head coach Leighann Rastede said. "We clicked very well as a team, this groupd had a good team-oriented attitude and it reflected in their play."
Lambert shot a 2-over-par 74 in the opening round on the par-72, 6,043-yard layout along the winding Neuse River. She carded a 77 in the second round to put herself in a tie for 12th with a 7-over-par 151 heading into Tuesday's final round.
Freshman Rosario Germino is in 20th place at 9-over-par 153. She shot a 76 in the first round and a 77 in the second round. Senior Lauren Ritter is tied for 42nd at 159 (76-83).
Senior Leslie Monachino is tied for 55th at 163 (81-83) and sophomore Alex Latimer is in 62nd at 166 (81-85).
