
Women's Golf In Second Place Heading Into Final Round Of Peggy Kirk Bell

WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. - The University of Richmond women's golf team is in second place out of 13 teams after two rounds of the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational played Monday at the Tuscawilla Country Club in Winter Springs, Fla.
The third and final round of the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational will be played Tuesday morning.
Richmond shot a 311 in the morning round Monday and then shot a 317 to finish the day at 628 on the par-72, 6,089 Tuscawilla course. Host Rollins College is in first place with a 604 after rounds of 296 and 308.
Richmond junior Natasha Lopez Moreira shot a 76 in the morning round and a 79 in the afternoon, which has her in a tie for 10th at 11-over-par 155.
Freshman Rosario Germinois tied for 16th at 158 (78-80). Senior Lauren Ritter is tied for 31st with a 164 after shooting a pair of 82s Monday and senior Whitney McComis is in 65th at 174 (84-90).
