Moreira, Lambert Earn All-Conference Honors

PINEHURST, N.C. - University of Richmond sophomore Natasha Lopez Moreira and junior Ashley Lambert both earned All-Colonial Athletic Association, it was announced Friday at the conference's golf banquet.

Moreira leads the Spiders with a 76.2 stroke average and has three top-10 finishes on the season. She led the Spiders in four tournaments in 2005-06 and her best finish was tying for seventh at the Taco Bell Intercollegiate on Oct. 21-23.
Lambert has led the Spiders in three of their four tournaments so far this spring and has two top-10 finishes. Her best finish was tying for sixth at the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational on March 6-7.
The all-conference honors were announced Friday at the CAA golf banquet, held in conjunction with the 2006 CAA Men's and Women's Golf Championships being played at Pinehurst No. 6.
Richmond cracked Golfstat's top-100 for the first time in program history. This is the fourth season of play for the Richmond women's golf team.
