UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Interior renovations to the University of Richmond Golf Practice Facility are underway. Follow the progress here at RichmondSpiders.com.
The building formerly housed a Ben Hogan Golf club-testing facility, but the University of Richmond has been using the outdoor practice area for the past year and hope to move the men's and women's golf programs into the facility's building this year.
The building will house the men's and women's golf programs with lockers, showers, coaches' offices, a players' lounge, laundry room, study area with computers, weight room designed for golfers, club repair room and a bay for video swing analysis that opens onto the driving range.
The facility already includes tee areas that are covered and heated, a driving range, three putting greens and several practice bunkers.
