James Madison Edges Men's Tennis, 4-3

HARRISONBURG, Va. - James Madison edged the Richmond 4-3 in men's tennis action on Tuesday afternoon in Harrisonburg, Va. Doug Banker, Michael Sommer and Matt Farina earned wins in singles action.
The Dukes swept doubles play to secure what ended up being the match-difference-making point for James Madison.
The Spiders stepped up and split singles play 3-3, earning wins at third, fifth and sixth singles. Banker came from behind to win a match at the no. 3 spot, while Sommer and Farina hung on to win battles at the fifth and sixth positions; however, with the doubles point, the Dukes edged by with a 4-3 victory.
The Spiders (5-10, 1-1 in A-10) will return to the court on Friday at 2:30 p.m. at UNC-Greensboro.
