
Spiders In Seventh After First Round Of Lady Pirate Invitational

GREENVILLE, N.C. - Sophomore Christina Gray and freshman Jackie Evans are tied for 20th and the Spiders are in seventh place after the first round of East Carolina's Lady Pirate Intercollegiate played Sunday at Greenville Country Club.
Gray and Evans shot 6-over 77s in the first round and are just three shots out of a tie for fifth. Richmond shot a 312, which has the Spiders 13 shots off the lead and seven shots out of third place.
Juniors Anne Sprick and Lauren Folgosa are tied for 42nd at 8-over 79 and sophomore Jillian Fraccola is tied for 51st after shooting an 80.
The second round of the 54-hole tournament will be played Monday and the final round will be played Tuesday on the par-71, 5,939-yard Greenville Country Club course.
