Women's Golf Takes 16th At First Market Bank Intercollegiate

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Richmond women's golf team finished 16th out of 20 teams at the First Market Bank Intercollegiate, hosted by William & Mary at Ford's Colony Golf Club.
The Spiders shot a 343 Sunday after a 323 Saturday to finish the tournament at 666.
Sophomore Anne Sprick followed up an 80 on Saturday with a 79 Sunday on the par-72, 6,063-yard course. She finished the tournament at 15-over-par 159 in a tie for 11th.
Freshman Christina Gray tied for 56th at 167 (80-87) and freshman Jillian Fraccola tied for 69th at 169 (80-89).
Sophomore Lauren Folgosa tied for 79th at 171 (83-88) and senior Alex Latimer tied for 92nd at 174 (85-89).
The Spiders return to action on March 31 at the Georgia State Invitational to be held at the Eagles Landing Golf Club. Richmond has two tournaments remaining before the CAA Championship, to be held April 18-20 at the Golden Horseshoe Green Course in Williamsburg.
