Fraccola Posts Best Collegiate Finish At Lady Panther Intercollegiate

STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. - Richmond freshman Jillian Fraccola posted her best-career finish, tying for 22nd as the Spiders tied for 13th with CAA-rival Xavier at the John Kirk/Lady Panther Intercollegiate.
Richmond shot a 324 in Tuesday's second and final round to finish the tournament tied with Xavier for 13th at 655, three strokes behind 12th place Miami.
Fraccola shot a 77 Tuesday after a 79 in Monday's first round to finish the tournament at 10-over-par 156 on the par-73, 6,144-yard Eagles Landing Country Club.
Richmond sophomore Lauren Folgosa shot a 5-over-par 78 on Tuesday to tie for 55th at 164. Folgosa had shot an 86 on Monday.
Freshman Christina Gray finished one shot behind Folgosa in a tie for 57th after rounds of 84 and 81. Senior Alex Latimer tied for 69th at 172 (82-90) and sophomore Anne Sprick finished 74th at 176 after a pair of 88s.
The Spiders return to action at the UNCW Lady Seahawk Invitational, April 7-8 at River Landing Golf Club in Wallace, N.C.
