Men's Golf Finishes 15th At Louisiana Classics

LAFAYETTE, La. - The Richmond men's golf team finished 15th at the Louisiana Classics, completed Tuesday at Oakbourne Country Club.
The Spiders had their streak of three-straight top-5 finishes snapped as they finished with a 45-over-par 909, after rounds of 301-303-305.
"We're disappointed with our play down here," Richmond head coach Adam Decker said. "We know what we need to work on and we look forward to having a better showing at the next tournament."
Freshman Brad Miller tied for 38th at 7-over-par 223, having shot rounds of 73, 74 and 76. Junior Robert Lindstrom tied for 53rd at 19-over 226 (73-75-78) and Senior Grant Rafield tied for 69th at 16-over 232 (81-75-76).
Sophomore Sam Beach tied for 71st at 233 (76-80-77) and senior Tim Courtney was 74th at 234 (79-79-76).
The Spiders return to action at the Mobile Intercollegiate, March 22-24 in Mobile, Ala.
