Women's Golf In Third After First Round Of First Market Intercollegiate

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Sophomore Christina Gray is tied for 12th and the Richmond women's golf team is in third place after the first round of the First Market Bank Intercollegiate at Ford's Colony Country Club.
Gray shot a 5-over-par 77 on the par-72, 6,174-yard course to sit three shots back of the leader, Camilla Lennarth of Alabama. The Crimson Tide is in first as a team with a 306, with Penn State in second at 311 and the Spiders in third at 314. Radford, Charleston Southern and Georgetown are tied for fourth at 317.
Richmond junior Lauren Folgosa is tied for 19th with a 70 and sophomore Jillian Fraccola is tied for 26th at 79.
Junior Anne Sprick is tied for 33rd with an 80 and freshman Jackie Evans is tied for 64th with an 83.
The second and final round will be played Monday at Ford's Colony.
