Men's Golf In VCU Shootout At Hermitage Country Club

MANAKIN-SABOT, Va. - The Richmond men's golf team is competing in the VCU Shootout on Monday and Tuesday at Hermitage County Club.
The 54-hole tournament begins at 8:45 a.m. on Monday morning and will have two rounds played Monday and the third and final round of 18 played Tuesday morning.
The VCU Shootout field is always strong and this year is no exception. The 14-team field includes Wake Forest, Iowa, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Maryland, Penn State, VCU and Richmond's Atlantic 10 rival Charlotte.
The Spiders finished second in their last tournament, the Missouri Tiger Invitational. Richmond's lineup at the VCU Shootout is senior Robert Lindstrom, junior Sam Beach, sophomore Brad Miller and freshmen Daniel Walker and Nick Austin.
