Fraccola Finishes Second, Spiders Fifth At Low Country Intercollegiate

HILTON HEAD, S.C. - Junior Jillian Fraccola was the runner-up and the Richmond women's golf team finished fifth out of 14 teams at the Low Country Intercollegiate.
Fraccola shot a 2-over-par 74 in the opening round and a 3-over 75 in the second to finish at 5-over 149. She was tied for the lead after 36 holes and Augusta State's Natalie Willie won on a playoff hole.
The Spiders shot a 315 in the first round and a 320 in the second round to finish at 635, 10 shots back of fourth-place Jacksonville.
Seniors Lauren Folgosa and Anne Sprick tied for 25th at 161. Folgosa shot an 82 in the opening round and a 79 in the second round. Sprick shot and a 78 in the first round and an 83 in the second round.
Freshman Courtney Rousse tied for 40th at 166 (81-85) and freshman Tracy Martin tied for 46th at 167 (84-83).
