
Women's Golf Ninth At Fighting Camel Classic

BUIES CREEK, N.C. -- The Richmond women's golf team is ninth after the first round of the Fighting Camel Classic, with Round 2 suspended by darkness.
Lauren Conder carded an opening-round 80 to pace the Spiders in the first round, and the sophomore was four-over after nine holes in Round 2 before darkness fell on the Keith Hills Golf Club.
The conclusion of the second round is underway at 8:45 Tuesday morning, followed immediately by the final round.
Junior Tracey Martin shot an 83 Monday and was four over through seven holes, with junior Caroline Lovette and sophomore Viviana Perez each carding 84s. Lovette had a good round going in the second and was two-over at the turn. Sophomore Krystin Schwarze shot a 91 Monday.
