COACH
LORI TAYLOR ON THE UPCOMING INDOOR SEASON
"We've got a large group of freshmen
women who will be able to step in right away this season. Our expectation is to
really make our team look a lot different on the track & field side this
year. We're excited about this year's squad and hope that it translates into
improved results at indoor conference meet. We hope we will be in a position
that we can consistently shoot for a top-three finish year in and year out with
these freshmen women. Jasmine Smalls and Amber Young, in particular, in the
short sprints can be very competitive in the A-10 as well as in this region over
their four years here."
COACH
TAYLOR ON THIS WEEKEND'S CNU MEET
"What we're trying to accomplish this
weekend is giving the freshmen and upperclassmen a chance to get out there and
see the results of their training this fall. It will serve to measure and reinforce
what they've been working at all fall. This meet will help motivate the ladies
and put them in a position to really get the season going after the holidays."
