Women's Golf Opens Spring Season At Kiawah Island

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - The Richmond women's golf team finished 27th out of 33 teams at the highly competitive Kiawah Island Classic to open the spring season.
The Spiders finished at 962, shooting a 315 in the first round, 318 in the second round and 329 in the final round.
Senior Jillian Fraccola and sophomore Tracy Martin tied for 101st at 241. Fraccola shot 80-76-85 and Martin shot 79-79-83.
Caroline Lovette tied for 117th at 244, shooting an opening round 1-over-par 73, followed by an 84 and 87.
Senior Christina Gray tied for 119th at 245 (83-81-81) and freshman Danielle Pinder tied for 134th at 249 (87-82-80).
