Fraccola Tied For Second At CAA Championship

PINEHURST, N.C. - Senior Jillian Fraccola is tied for the second and the Richmond women's golf team is in seventh place after two rounds of the 2011 CAA Championship, being played at Pinehurst No. 6.
Fraccola shot a 5-over 77 in Saturday's second round to sit at 6-over 150, in a four-way tie for second, two shots behind William & Mary's Caroline Sweet for first place. Fraccola shot a 1-over 73 in the opening round Friday.
The Spiders, who were tied for second after a first round 309, shot a 323 on Saturday and enter Sunday's final round at 56-over 632. Xavier is in the lead at 615, James Madison and Georgia State are tied for second at 617, followed by UNC-Wilmington (618), Old Dominion (622) and William & Mary (629).
Richmond sophomore Tracy Martin is tied for 21st at 15-over 159, having followed a first round 76 with an 83 on Satruday. Freshman Lauren Conder shot a 79 in the second round after an 82 in the first round to sit in a tie for 25th at 17-over 161.
Sophomore Caroline Lovette is tied for 28th at 18-over 162 (78-84) and senior Christina Gray is in 49th at 198.
