Spiders' Germann Named A-10 Rookie Of The Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - After helping the University of Richmond men's golf team to a second place finish at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate earlier this week, Spider freshman David Germann was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week.

Germann played great for the Spiders at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate, tying for 23rd place with a 54-hole total of 220 (+4). After carding rounds of 73-76 in the first two rounds, Germann closed with a final round 71 (-1). As a team, Richmond carded a final round score of 280 (-8) - the third best round in school history.

On the season, Germann has played in three of the four events for Richmond, totaling a stroke average of 74.50 - second best on the team.
