Richmond's Lovette Named CAA Golfer Of The Week

RICHMOND, Va. - University of Richmond Spiders women's golfer Caroline Lovette was named the CAA Golfer of the Week, the conference office announced on Wednesday. The league honor is the first in Lovette's career.
Lovette helped lead the Spiders to a sixth place finish at the UNCG Starmount Fall Classic this week, tying for seventh place individually - her third career top-10.
Carding a three-round total of 218 (+5), the senior finished the tournament strong, carding a personal-best score of 71 (E) in the final round. The Davidsville, Pa. native's 54-hole total of 218 (+5) was also a career-best, tying her for seventh all-time on the school's 54-hole scoring list.
The Richmond Spiders women's golf team will back on the course October 15-16 when the team will travel to Charleston, S.C. to play in the Wendy's Invitational.
