Spiders Complete Day One Of Camel Classic

BUIES CREEK, N.C. -- The Richmond women's golf team is in 10th place after two rounds of action at the Camel Classic in Buies Creek, N.C.
Senior Lauren Conder leads Richmond, shooting a 79(+7), 71(-1) during the first two rounds of play to total a 150 (+6) on the day. Conder's finish is tied for seventh. Conder also carded a one-under par shooting a 70 (-1) at the William & Mary Invite Sept 16.
Jessica Lydia follows Conder in Spider scoring with a 153 (+9) on the day. Lydia carded a 79 (+7) and 74 (+2) respectively. Lydia's first day total was good for 19th overall.
Collectively, the Spiders shot a 635 (+59) on the day, good for 10th place after two rounds of action at the Par-72, 6,026 course at the Keith Hills Country Club.
Play concludes tomorrow with a shotgun start of 8:45 a.m.
