Walker Named VCGC First-Team All-State

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. – Richmond senior Daniel Walker was named to the Virginia Collegiate Golf Coaches Association First-Team.
Walker finished his career at Richmond by advancing as an individual to the NCAA Championship, following a runner-up performance at the NCAA East Regional in Tallahasse, Fla.
He posted a school-record 72.26 scoring average for the 2012-13 season with six top-10 finishes in 10 events.
The Earlysville, Va. native had already been named to the Golf Coaches Association of America All-East Region Team and the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Team.
