Men's Golf Announces 2013-14 Schedule

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. – The Richmond men's golf team's 2013-14 schedule includes a trip to Pinehurst and concludes with the Atlantic 10 Championship at TPC Tampa Bay.
The Spiders make trips to Kiawah and Hilton Head South Carolina, play Pinehurst No. 2 and have the third annual Black & Blue Cup, a head-to-head match-up with crosstown rival VCU at Kinloch Golf Club.
Richmond's season opens at the Marshall Invitational (Sept. 9-10) and the Spiders' second tournament is a short trip to Hermitage Country Club for the VCU Shootout.
“We are looking forward to a great fall season,” Richmond head coach Adam Decker said. “With three incoming freshmen and lots of great results in summer tournaments - I am excited to get started. The schedule this fall is well balanced and allows us to see a nice variety of courses and competition.”
The Spiders' spring season opens at the Wexford Intercollegiate in Hilton Head, S.C., Feb. 17-18.
The 2014 Atlantic 10 Championship will be held at TPC Tampa Bay, April 24-27.
