Women's Golf Announces Fall Signees

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - In her first signing class as Richmond's head women's golf coach, Ali Wright has brought in three talented golfers from the east coast.
The Spiders welcome Annie Collom (Davidson, N.C.), Sophie DiPetrillo (Dover, Mass.) and Isabella Rusher (Salisbury, N.C.) to next year's team.
“We are thrilled to have three of the top players in North Carolina and Massachusetts sign letters of intent to play for the University of Richmond,” Wright said. “Annie Collom, Sophie DiPetrillo and Isabella Rusher represent the bright future of Richmond Women's Golf. All three players have amassed numerous tournament wins during their junior careers and have excelled in Massachusetts and North Carolina. In addition, they are excellent students and people, and we are proud to call them Spiders.”

“Isabella is a consistent ball striker with good length off of the tee,” Wright said. “I am also impressed with her short game and ability to always find her way into the top portion of the leaderboard.”
