Team Notes
- Richmond ends the season with nine wins – the most for the team since 2009.
- Richmond reached the playoffs for the first time since 2009 and for the fourth time in the last eight seasons.
Player Notes
- QB Michael Strauss finishes his career with Richmond ranked second in passing touchdowns (57), second in completions (698), third in passing yards (7,853) and third in attempts (1,065).
- On the single-season list, Strauss ranks second in yards (2,836), second in passing touchdowns (22), third in completions (240) and third in attempts (362).
- WR Reggie Diggs ended the season with 85 receptions for 1,157 yards and seven touchdowns. Diggs ranks second all-time in single-season receptions, third receiving yards and tied for sixth in TD catches.
- WR Brian Brown ended the season with 79 receptions for 1,089 yards and four touchdowns. Brown ranks fourth all-time in single-season receptions and sixth in receiving yards.
- Brown's 181 yards receiving marked is fifth 100-yard game this year and the sixth of his career.
- Diggs' 140 yards receiving marked his second 100-yard receiving game this year and the third of his career.
- DL Evan Kelly's forced fumble in the second quarter was his second of the season and the fourth of his career.
- Strauss' 76-yard touchdown connection with Brown in the third quarter was a career-long pass for Strauss and a career-long reception for Brown.
- DL Winston Craig's sack in the third quarter was his third of the season.
