SUGAR GROVE, Ill. – Richmond junior Danny Pizetoski tees off in the 2014 NCAA Regional Championships Thursday at 11:12 am ET at Rich Harvest Farms Country Club.

The Davidson, N.C. received a bid as individual after winning the 2014 Atlantic 10 Championship, his third tournament title of the 2013-14 school year. He is the first Spider to win the Atlantic 10 Championship, first Richmond player to win three tournaments in the same school year.
He led the Spiders with a 73.19 scoring average this season, with 10 rounds under par and six top-20 finishes.
This is the second-straight season that Richmond has had an individual earn a spot in the NCAA Regionals. Daniel Walker earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Regional in Tallahassee last spring. Walker tied for second at the Regional, advancing to the NCAA National Championship.
The Rich Harvest Farms Regional is one of six that will be played throughout the country. Thirteen teams and 10 individuals not on those teams will compete in each Regional. The low five teams and the low individual not on those teams will advance to the NCAA Men's Golf Championship, May 23-28 at Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kan.
