Spider Track & Field Set To Compete At NC State

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - The Richmond track and field team heads to Raleigh, N.C. Friday for the Wolfpack Last Chance Meet, hosted by North Carolina State. The one-day meet will take place at the Paul Derr Track.
The field events are scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. with the javelin throw, while the track events are slated to begin at 6 p.m. with the 100-meter dash. A complete schedule of events can be found here.
The Spiders have 11 women competing over the course of the day.
LAST TIME OUT
Senior Jill Prentice dominated in the 5k, claiming first-place (17:02.69) and finishing almost 18 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.
Leading the Spiders in the 1500m was Alyson McGonigle. McGonigle ran a time of 4:29.28, which earned her a fifth-place finish. Junior Taylor Clevinger also ran well, finishing 15th (4:36.24).
Ann O'Toole closed out the meet for the Spiders, finishing eighth in the 100m hurdles and tying her season best time of 15.89.
