Pizetoski Finishes 46th Of 74 At NCAA Regional

SUGAR GROVE, Ill. – Richmond junior Danny Pizetoski tied for 46th out of 74 players at the NCAA Regional at Rich Harvest Farms.
Pizetoski shot a 19-over 235 for the three-day, 54-hole tournament, played under cold and rainy conditions.
The Davidson, N.C. won the 2014 Atlantic 10 Championship on April 27, his third tournament victory of the year. He led the Spiders to a runner-up finish at the Atlantic 10 Championship as a team and earned a bid to the NCAA Regionals.
Pizetoski is the first Spider to win the Atlantic 10 Championship, first Richmond player to win three tournaments in the same school year.
Pizetoski finishes the season, leading the Spiders with a 73.70 scoring average with 10 rounds under par and six top-20 finishes.
This is the second-straight season that Richmond has had an individual earn a spot in the NCAA Regionals. Daniel Walker earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Regional in Tallahassee, Fla.
