The three-day tournament starts on Sunday, Sept. 14 at the Spirit Hollow Golf Course, hosted by the University of Iowa. The course is a par 72, set at 7,222 yards.
Richmond is one of 12 programs from 12 different conferences to enter this year's event. Iowa, Austin Peay, Eastern Michigan, LSU, Oregon State, San Jose State, Southeastern Louisiana, SMU, Texas State, UTEP and Xavier will also be competing.
Sunday and Monday's action will tee off at 9 a.m. CT, while Tuesday will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Fans can follow live scoring through Golfstat here.
The Spiders are coming off a fantastic 2013-14 season where they finished second as a team in the A10 championships. Then-junior Danny Pizetoski won the individual conference title outright, becoming the first Spider to win the A10 individual medal. He went on to represent UR in the NCAA Regionals and U.S. Amateur Championships.
Richmond opened last season with a tournament victory at the Marshall Invitational.
UR returns all but one letterwinner from last year's squad and will welcome two outstanding freshmen in Jimmy Davis and Matthew Lowe.
