Wo Men's Golf Wraps Fall Opener

SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. – The Richmond women's golf team wrapped the fall opener at the Louisville Cardinal Cup on Tuesday from the Louisville Golf Course in Simpsonville, Ky.
The Spiders were led by Sara Diaz and Jessica Lydia who both shot a three-round score of 243 (+27). Lydia had the best final round, shooting +8 for the second round in a row.
Kira Kuhnert finished with a 255 (+39) and Tiarra Baskerville shot a 258 (+42). Elsa Diaz, who shot +12 through the first two rounds, withdrew on Tuesday.
The Spiders finished 17th in the team standings, posting a 982 (+118).
Richmond continues fall tournament play this weekend at the Navy Fall Invitational at the Naval Academy Golf Course in Annapolis, Md.
