Lowe Leads Richmond At AutoTrader.com Intercollegiate

DULUTH, Ga. - Richmond sophomore Matthew Lowe shot one-over par to lead the Spiders at the 2015 AutoTrader.com Intercollegiate in Duluth, Ga. The tournament was on the par-72 Berkeley Hill Country Club.
Lowe shot 70-73-74=217 (+1) on the tournament, tallying his fourth under-par round in his first six rounds this season. He tallied 12 birdies and one eagle through his three rounds, placing 23rd overall in the field.
Senior David Germann was second on the team and 29th overall, shooting 71-75-73=219 (+3).
Freshman Ben Wanichek shot 71-81-74=226 (+10) for his first under-par round of his career and lowest tournament score so far. Senior Mark Reilly rounded out the Spider scorers with a 73-78-76=227 (+11).
Keegan Hoff shot 71-76-81=228 (+12) and John David Sanderson competed as an individual for a tournament score of 75-76-79=230 (+14).
As a team, Richmond finished in 10th place at the tournament.
The Spiders will be back in action next week at the Georgetown Intercollegiate in Beallsville, Md. on Oct. 19-20.
