BEALLSVILLE, Md. - Richmond improved its team score by 16 strokes from the first to second round to place in a tie for fifth at the Georgetown Collegiate at the Members Club at Four Streams on Monday and Tuesday.

Richmond sophomore Matthew Lowe led the Spiders with rounds of 76 (+5) and 68 (-3) to finish at 144 (+2) and tie for fourth overall.
Freshman Ben Wanichek posted his first top-10 tournament of his young Spider career as he placed eighth. Wanichek shot 73-74=147 (+5) in the two rounds of play.
