Lydia Among Patriot League's Best in September

Senior Jessica Lydia (Jakarta, Indonesia) was cited in the Patriot League player of Month in the Honorable Mention category by the league offices to stat October. She was Richmond's high finisher in their last tournament and second-highest in their first tournament, posting a 10th and a 13th-place finish in her first two events of the year. At Bucknell, she braved the elements to finish 10th at 22-over on the Par-70 layout. At East Carolina to end September, Lydia finished with a pair of two-over par rounds of 74 to finish at 10-over par and 13th place on the par-72 course.
Richmond got off to a good start to the year, finishing third of 14 teams at the Bucknell Lady Bison Fall Classic and tied for sixth of 17 programs at the East Carolina Lady Pirate Invitational to end September. Freshman Isabella Rusher took seventh in her first collegiate tournament at Bucknell, with a 20-over par final result.
October 12 and 13, the Spiders will next play in the Loyola Intercollegiate in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
