MCKINNEY, TEXAS - University of Richmond golf alumni Brad Miller and Sam Beach will be competing at the TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas, in the second stage of PGA "Q-School" qualifying rounds.
Miller played in the 2015 Wyndham Championship this past August, working to get closer to his PGA Tour card. Despite shooting one-under par in his second round, Miller didn't make the weekend cut with a two-round score of +2.
A 2012 graduate of the Spider program, Miller was an Atlantic 10 All-Conference selection in his senior season. He was also a Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America scholar that season.
Beach competed in Web.com Nova Scotia Open last year.
A 2011 graduate of Richmond, Beach was a two-time All-Atlantic 10 performer for Richmond, and was also named All-State. His career stroke average of 74.57 ranked seventh all-time.
The second stage event in Texas begins on Tuesday, Nov. 10 and goes through Friday, Nov. 13. Complete tournament information can be found here.
