Hoff Paces Spiders At Irish Creek

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. - Sophomore Keegan Hoff shot a season-low 69 (-2) in Saturday's second round of the Irish Creek Intercollegiate, on his way to a team-best tournament of 216 (+3).
Hoff shot a 69 on the par-71 course on Saturday, marking his second under-par round this season and fifth of his two-year career. He finished at 71-69-76=216 (+3) to tie for 20th overall.
David Germann was second on the team with a three-round total of 75-74-75=224 (+11), while Danny Pizetoski shot 77-73-82=232 (+19).
Matthew Lowe, the reigning A-10 Rookie of the Week, shot 74-81-83=238 (+25), and Austin Romeo finished at 78-79-81=238 (+25).
UR placed 15th in the field as a team, and will look ahead to a match play contest with VCU on April 18 at the Kinloch Golf Course in Manakin-Sabot, Va.
