Sara Diaz Earns Patriot League All-Academic Honors

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Richmond senior golfer Sara Diaz was named to the Patriot League All-Academic team, the conference office announced today.

Diaz competed for one season with the Spiders as a graduate student at Richmond. She studies human resources management.

She placed 18th at the Patriot League Championship, shooting 249 (+33). She also shot 229 (+13) and tied for 30th at the Morehead State Ocala Invitational.

A native of San Antonio, Texas, Diaz transferred from Texas A&M-Commerce before this season.
