Four Spiders Named To Patriot League Women's Golf Honor Roll

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Four University of Richmond women's golfers have been tabbed for the Patriot League Women's Golf Academic Honor Roll.
Seniors Eliza Breed and Sara Diaz, junior Kira Kuhnert and sophomore Maria Pons Cano were all honored by the conference office.
Diaz had previously earned a spot on the five-player Patriot League All-Academic team.
To be eligible for the Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in the Patriot League-sponsored sport.
Diaz placed 18th at the year-end conference tournament, while Kuhnert finished 20th. Pons Cano was tied for 23rd, and Breed did not compete due to injury. The Spiders finished fourth as a team in UR's first season in the Patriot League.
